The Lauder Employment Center with Ben-Gurion University & JNF

Israel’s Negev region has historically underperformed in terms of education, employment and development. But the desert region and its growing population have untapped potential in clean energy, environmental sciences and cyber. Ronald Lauder has started to fill this gap in the Negev’s economic and social infrastructure.

In 2015, along with Ben-Gurion University and JNF, Lauder inaugurated the Lauder Center for Employment in the Negev. Based in Beer-Sheva, the Center provides high-quality tools for professional guidance, employment solutions and job creation. In particular, the center attracts recent university graduates to become the next scientists, engineers, researchers and leaders of the Negev and the State of Israel.
